Look Back In Anger

The Ron Anger Presentations

Ron Anger was the son of Justice Harry Anger and his wife Rhea who were founding members of TDES. During his time as a member Ron made several presentations to TDES and we are fortunate to have copies of some of them in our paper archives.  We are making these documents available to members of TDES as a resource to be used in preparing future presentations.

A fuller description of the history of the founding of the society and its early days was written by the late Jim Galloway in a piece called Look Back In Anger, a copy of which is posted above.

 The Anger presentations are:

Ben Webster - The First Thirty Years

Duke Ellington Basses

Four Decades with the Duke

·      Leon Barney Bigard

      The Ellington Growlers

      Cootie

Duke Ellington - Presentation Given at the 18th Annual Canadian Collector's Conference 30th April 1989
